Are searches for UV resistant fabric realized?Kites for 20 years of use would be a big step towards a low effective cost of Airborne Wind Turbine.

Yes, various entities have researched UV-resistant fabrics; and research continues on the same matter. The fibers as well as treatments of the fibers (composition and surface treatments) are involved in facing the UV challenge.

The trampoline mat world has gained some of my attention:
